Their automated telephone service sucks

Im trying to get a loan and unfreeze my credit and because it doesnt recognize the phone number I have now it wont let me login and theres no option to talk to a person and every time I tell the automated service that I want to unfreeze my credit, it says, do you want to freeze your credit, this is ridiculous.

Cannot reach a human being

I have been trying to correct an error on my credit report for over a month, and its still wrong. I canceled my service with Experian. My Experian Credit report shows I have $145,000 in student loans. This is totally inaccurate. It $76,000. I have filed disputes and the student loan company keeps reporting that the balance on my credit report is accurate, yet they show $76,000 on my Ed Financial account. Very poor service.

I can't speak to a live agent. I have made 5 call attempts and I get stuck with the recording and it just keeps telling me it needs more info. Then it says it can't transfer me to an anger right now. I can't login because I need to update my phone number and email address.

I have spent over two hours trying to contact Experian by phone and online, over two days, to no avail.

Online, it said it could not verify my identity. It wanted to send two step verification but the phone number they had was a hardline which has been gone over two or three years.

I was referred to the customer service phone number. After giving my SSN, zip code,address numerals, and ID pin it said it could not connect me to an agent except in limited circumstances. It offered chat and other topics. Mine matched and it only offered two choices, neither of which were what I needed.

I could not manage my freeze, nor could I get connected to agent. I was hung up on several times. I tried going into other choices but none got me to a person. Then it referred me to online help on website, but even tho I had pin, I could not get a phone call to get into acct because I had a new phone number (cell) and it only had my hardlineand I could not get in to update my phone number nor could I get a person.

This a is really unacceptable problem for a major credit repository!

Totally unacceptable. Equifax and Transunion were very easy to use, and quickly got me to a person to take care of my phone update and my freeze management.

Inaccurate info on my credit report

first I am ANGRY I CANNOT reach a live person I am currently seeing on my report I receive from Privacy Guard that you have posted an open REAL ESTATE account for a home that I sold 02/16/2022. I have a letter that was sent to my attorney dated 06/30/2022 stating that fraud was the cause of my original mortgage pay off being intercepted by scammers.

My numbers have gone down due to no fault of my own.

I do not know where your company gets this info from, but it should be confirmed before putting inaccurate info out there that negatively affects me. I am beoynd PISSED that I have to go through this issue again, when it is recorded that I DO NO LONGER OWN THE PROPERTY IN QUESTION, OR ANY OTHER FOR THAT MATTER

Why can't I reach a human to speak with regarding my issues?

I've called at least 3 different numbers and still can't reach any humans to talk to, to get my issues resolved. Is Experian a legit company anymore??? Why do we need credit scores if no humans are available to fix it due to technical errors? Now the public has to suffer??? This makes no sense. Maybe eliminate experian credit scores if they can't be reached for assistance in any capacity!!!

Credit Score Destroyers before Verification of Accuracy

My Credit Score dropped from a 780 to 560 in 30 days because my home was raided by thieves dressed as police officers. They handcuffed me put me in a black SUV questioning me about my entire life and sensitive personal information, while 8 fake officers took all of my Computers, cell phones hard drives thumb drives sad cards , credit cards and cash leaving me with 2 fake citations and 100% destitute!

It took 3 weeks of going through a psychological nightmare to figure out it was a controlled robbery. I shut off my phones bank accounts and credit cards. I told the 3 credit Bureaus and all card companies about it. I was locked out of all my accounts do to the 2 factor authentication that was going to my stolen phones locking me out.

Everything was on automatic bill pay and was kicking back the checks that were supposed to be getting debited. These automatic transactions regardless I had the money dropped my score from excellent to poor after a lifetime of 100% perfect history. I put a freeze on all 3 companies before anything happened. This did nothing to protect me nor did notifying anyone.

Everything just went on as usual as my credit fell into the abyss. I have lost faith in the system. My own renters insurance wont even pay me for my losses. They claimed it identity theft.

They have my entire identity and my lifes work on those devices. All I can too is buy new stuff and wait until they use my identity for something serious that will put me behind bars or deeper in debt. There is no hope in my situation. Im deviated and totally alone.

I tell people about it and get no reply.

Most looked at me as if Im on drugs and avoid me. Im sick!

User's recommendation: Go through a professional credit repair agency to handle the reporting for you and make sure everything is documented and the message gets through and executed not forgotten!

I think you are misunderstanding what a freeze on the three credit bureaus accomplishes. It only prevents new credit accounts from being established.

It doesn’t freeze your scores the day you initiate one. Also notifying your creditors only prevents fraudulent use of your accounts going forward.

I have made several phone calls to speak to a human being. A real person, not a robot. It is impossible to speak to alive person from experian.This is very disappointing and troubling!

Killing peoples lives without regard!

Not that this is going to go anywhere, but my problem was not resolved. Home Depot falsely represented a credit check that was reported to you people and of course it goes nowhere. Maybe one day companies like yours will be regulated! Till then good luck, killing peoples credit and their lives.

Fraudulent activity

I had a charge to a canceled credit card 2 years after canceling it, and the pedicure was sent to an old address. The company reversed the charges when I found out about it, but citi card is insisting I owe interrst and fees. I didn't know about the charge till it accumulated lot of fees, as I had moved and was not getting statements. I can't get anyone from experian to help me.
