I have been trying to contact "somebody" at Experian. Even though your website claims you can speaik with a hman being, that is NOT THE CASE!
Even more so in my case since I am having a huge problem accessing my report. I joined Experian many years ago and never changed my user name or password, yet it does not work. When I enter my SS number and zip code it does recognize these numbers, but then tells me I need to verify it is me by sending me a link WHICH DOES NOTHING. One day last week I was lucky enough to actually get a person on one of your phone numbers (and you have MANY) this is what she advised, since I was a "Truist" customer I had to open another account.
I had her stay on the line while I tried but an error message appeared and she told me the website was down and I needed to try again the next day. .Guess what? your website was still "down." I am seeking a loan to purchase my leased vehicle and it has to be done by December 13th. I need help!!!
and I want someone to contact me PLEASE. My phone number is 352 403 ****. If not answered, PLEASE leave a direct phone number to a human being that I can call back.
Never in my life have I ever had such a problem contacting a company for help! Thank you.

As soon as I get my issue resolved with them, I am canceling my account. It's impossible to speak with someone, and the chatbots are useless.

There's an inaccuracy on my report from Westlake Financial Services. I have spoken with them and they have explained to me that I do not owe them anything.
The amount has been paid off in full.
I have the letter that says that as well, which was provided to me by Westlake Financial Services. However, you all didn't update it.

I tried to cancel my Experian membership, but it wouldn't let me. I also attempted to downgrade my membership, but the system did not allow me to cancel the contract.
The page or button is broken and will not allow me to make calls. I couldn't contact a live representative.

You cannot reach them on the phone or on the computer. They are the ones perpetrating fraud, not protecting you from it.

Not sure what happened, but after 2 days of trying to repeatedly logging in and trying customer service, I finally was able to get through with the login. It's still a terrible experience and led to a delay and more work on my end to get what I wanted.
Although I was able to register, I am unable to log in. The final verification step with my social always ends in 'Oops! we're sorry. Call us at 1-86*-***-****'.
Sadly, when calling them, I am presented with limited options and a dysfunctional voice-bot that leaves no option for me to talk to a specialist. Consequently, I am unable to unfreeze my account.
That's frustrating because the service that runs my check requires Experian. This feels very wrong and affects me personally now.

Had connected to Experian chat but can't repeat the connection. Need to speak with a human being to help resolve this issue.

I have an issue with my password reset capability. I mailed in the request for a password reset nearly seven weeks ago with the required information and have yet to receive a response.
I can receive a text when calling your customer service, but your website says my number is invalid when attempting to reset my password. Yet, you have my number on file to send me a link to the page. The alternate option of a social security number and birth date results in an error as well. Your customer service numbers have no option to speak to a representative and hang up on you after attempting to reach someone.
There is a credit block on my account that is causing issues and I need to turn it off but have no way of accessing my account. Please help...

I froze my credit. It is all AI-generated.
They gave me a confirmation number for when I want to unfreeze it. The number is nine digits long. It was recited so quickly that it's hard to believe anyone could write it down in time. I asked for them to repeat it, but I still couldn't get it right.
I then called to unfreeze my credit and was asked for the confirmation number. I had written it down incorrectly. They told me it was the wrong number and disconnected my call. I have tried everything to speak to an actual person.
As far as I am concerned, there is no way to do that. Every number that claims it connects you to a real person ultimately leads to the same place.
User's recommendation: If you are able, try to tape your conversation so you will have access to your number. There needs to be a way you can read the confirmation number back to them. No way to do that now.

Hello,
I have tried to contact Experian for 2 hours to speak to a representative and have not been able to get a hold of someone. Two months ago, I was able to get a hold of a representative as soon as I asked to speak to one. I need to speak to someone regarding my credit report and account due to my auto loan being denied.
